“Babe, how much do I owe you for the groceries?”
That question is gone.
DuoWallet is the simplest app for couples there is: every expense is mine, yours or ours, and what you owe each other is always one single number.
- 🇪🇺 Data in Europe
- Made for couples

Couple finances today: texts, screenshots and scraps of paper.
Who paid the energy bill? Were we splitting dinner? You keep track in your heads. Until you don't.
Why DuoWallet
Just for two. On purpose.
Group apps do lots of things. We do one thing well: the two of you.
More than numbers.
Notifications, personal touches, reactions. Using it won't feel like a chore.
Simple, really.
An expense takes two taps: the category and the split come on their own.
How it works

Add the expense.
It suggests the category and the split as you type. You choose what and how much.

Mine, yours or ours. The balance is one number.
The balance updates itself with every expense, no maths needed. Personal ones? Only you see them, surprises included.

Settle up whenever you like.
One tap and you're even. You decide how to pay each other back, we keep count.
Other apps send notifications. We make you smile.
On every expense you can leave an emoji or a little note: “Thanks love 💚”, “This one’s on me”. But never a telling-off: money is the number one cause of arguments in couples, and we're on the other side.

Simple doesn't mean basic.
Four things DuoWallet does for you, without you having to think about them.
Custom split
Not everything splits down the middle.
If one of you earns more, or some costs weigh more on one of you, you set the percentages: for everything, for a category, or just for that one expense. The balance does the maths again on its own.
Receipt scanning
Read from the document · Supermarket · $23.45
Snap the receipt, the expense writes itself.
Attach the photo or the PDF invoice and the app reads it: amount, date, shop and category fill themselves in. All that's left is a quick check and a tap.
Subscriptions
Rent, gym, streaming: they write themselves.
Expenses that come back every month, you enter once. Then they show up on their own on the right day, and go into the balance like everything else.
Budget
You always know how much is left.
Decide how much to spend together in a month, overall or category by category. When you're getting close we'll let you know, no alarms and no lectures.
How do you handle money as a couple?
Ten questions each, two minutes. You take it, send it to your partner, and see how in sync you are.

Group apps manage groups. Budgeting apps manage you. None of them is made for the two of you.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work if my partner doesn't use it?
Yes. DuoWallet is useful on your own too: you track your personal expenses from minute one. When your partner joins with the invite link, the couple side switches on by itself.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, on both: you'll find it on the App Store and Google Play. There's also a web app, if you'd like to try it in your browser before installing.
Is it really free?
Yes. The Free plan covers everyday use and never expires. When you want more features, there's the Plus plan.
Can my partner see my personal expenses?
No, never. Only you see your personal expenses: they don't show up in the balance or in the other person's totals. It's also the right way to keep a gift a secret.
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. You add expenses by hand in a couple of taps, and the app suggests the category and the split on its own. Bank connection will come later.
Where is my data?
On servers in Europe, in Frankfurt, handled under the GDPR. Personal expenses stay sealed even within the couple, and we don't sell your data to anyone.
Do we both pay for Plus?
No, it's paid once: whoever activates it activates it for the couple, and the other person uses it without paying anything. The yearly plan is the best value for the two of you.
Is the monthly plan a commitment?
Not at all: cancel whenever you like, in a couple of taps from your profile. It stays active until the end of the month you've already paid for, then you're back on Free and all your expenses stay where they are.
